Dr. Tung received a D.D.S degree from the University of Alberta in 1988.  He has a strong desire to learn and is a strong believer that continuous learning is a 'must have' trait for any human being. He has been an avid learner.

Over the years, Dr. Tung has continued his education and training by partaking in many dental courses. This includes many courses in comprehensive orthodontics, periodontic surgeries, implants, bone grafting, root canal treatments and full mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Tung established his own practice, Brisebois Dental Care, in 1995.  In the past 20 years that Dr. Tung has been practicing dentistry, he strives to utilize the newest theories and most advanced technology to treat his patients.  While he is good at many procedures in dentistry, he has special interest in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and surgical removal of difficult wisdom teeth.  In fact he do so good at it  that many other dentists refer patients to Dr. Tung.  

Dr. Tung performs many procedures to the level of specialist. Dr. Tung enjoys interacting with children and charms them with his quirky sense of humour.  His patience and dedication with children has gained him special privileges at the surgical suite with Alberta Health Services, a facility where he is able to perform dental procedures on very young and nervous patients under general anaesthetics. He enjoys seeing many patient that are from far away. 
He is devoted to serving his patients and the community and strongly believe that that prevention is the best cure. 

He is committed to educating the public about oral health and has volunteered his time by appearing on the Canadian Chinese Radio Station, FM 94.7, to answer questions that the Chinese community and work for the free dental clinic for the poor at CUPS in downtown Calgary.
 Dr. Tung also sees patients from many professionals including MD. Lawyers , professors from the University of Calgary. He also enjoys seeing many far away patients. He has patients come from the farthest corners from Hong Kong. Even after they move away to the diagonal part of the city, after trying other dentists, they still want to come back and see him. 
 

Dr. Tung is a fun-loving, generous individual who enjoys competitive badminton, scuba diving, travelling around the world and spending time with his two kids who are Canadian National champions in Badminton.
